If you are looking for outstanding Unagi (eel), then look no further. Your basic choice is Unadon or 'eel over rice' in a porcelain bowl, or Unaju, in the more authentic lacquer box. Specify Matsu (pine), Take (bamboo), Ume (plum), or Tsuru (crane), in an ascending scale of Unagi thickness and quality. Unagi is very tasty and not as fishy as one might expect! It is an outstanding Japanese dining experience.
