This hotel on the banks of the Yoshii River offers its guests a choice of well-equipped Western or Japanese-style rooms. The menu in the excellent restaurants features dishes made with local fresh river turtle. There are separate men's and women's hot-spring bathing facilities, with indoor baths in tiled pools with views of the river. Landscaped outdoor baths sit alongside the river. Okutsu Onsen is considered a beautifying spring. Bathing is said to give milky white complexions and rosy cheeks. The water is classified as weak alkaline, simple thermal and is used to treat rheumatism, arthritis, asthma and insomnia.
