This is contemporary Japanese cuisine with a touch of the chef's creative flair thrown in. The interior is quite dark, a cross between Japanese and Western, with low lighting, lots of woodwork and dark red seats. This restaurant serves over 35 brands of sake at any given time, so it is a great place for quiet drinking. Ask the staff to recommend something good. The menu is basically a la carte; dishes such as their sashimi moriawase (mixed raw-fish plate) go for JPY2,000. It is a great place to go if you want privacy and intimacy.
