This neighborhood restaurant offers good food with generous servings at decent prices. France is evoked in the check tablecloths and wall posters. The small dining space is intimate, but not cluttered. Two starters, an entree and a dessert can be enjoyed for JPY2,800. Popular items are sardines in a succulent tomato-based sauce, served over couscous; garlic-flavored scallops; and green salad with a mustard accent--the cushion for half a chicken which has been oven roasted. The ratatouille has an innovative basil sauce and raw ham on the side. For JPY3,500-JPY4,500 it is possible to select a nice wine.
