This is a great little cafe with a European feel. A perfect spot to escape the looming gray Shinjuku scenery, the interior is cozily lit, with small hanging plants and wooden floors. Outside seating space is also available. Orioru specializes in wrapped foods, healthy vegetable tortillas filled with chicken or fish, taboule and vegetables. Every day there are two types of healthily packed wraps to choose from. However, if you are not exactly feeling macrobiotic, they also serve some great desserts to satisfy the junk food junkie within. A luscious cherry tart will cost you under JPY600.
