If you feel the need for some fresh air and a chance to get away from the bustle of the city, free bikes are lent out for riding along the Tamagawa River. If you start at Marukobashi Bridge, you can ride all the way to the Daishibashi Bridge, nearly 11km, before turning around. There are only 40 bikes available but they are lent out every day. If you come on a weekday you will have no trouble getting a bike.
