When looking out over the Ikebukuro area, Fukusuke feels like an island within Tokyo. Unlike most places, Fukusuke offers sushi in individual pieces, allowing you to try a wider variety of its extensive selection. Low-end choices include squid, octopus and fried egg sushi for JPY120, while fatty tuna and abalone make-up the high end at JPY500 each. Assorted sushi sets run between JPY1,300 and JPY3,300 a set. Be sure to sit at the counter to watch the sushi chef work his magic.
