Ganchan is a fun place to enjoy grilled chicken. There is a varied menu and the quality of food is good. The décor is traditional, the staff friendly, and the service fast. There is an unusual choice of American background music, making the experience even more enjoyable. At around JPY2,700 per meal, it is not the cheapest yakitoriya grilled meats, mostly chicken, and vegetables on skewers) in town, but definitely one of the best places for atmosphere.
