This interesting hall, which seats 400, doubles as a theater and cinema. When functioning as a theater, which is usually in the afternoons, it stages drama from both well-known Japanese and foreign dramatists as well as contemporary writers (although the productions are in Japanese). In the evening, in its role as a cinema, it features avant-garde foreign as well as Japanese films. In the lobby of the building there is a British pub, the Hub, one of a chain, that serves a variety of British draught beers and pub food.
