If you are not into overly spicy foods, the asari (bland) nature of Cantonese food should be just what you are looking for. A bowl of fukahire (shark fin) soup, usually a luxury in Tokyo, costs a mere JPY1,800. For JPY2,000 you can also sample Peking duck, although it is probably best to get more than one order as the portions are small. Courses run from JPY3,000-JPY5,000, while lunch courses are JPY1,500. Dessert and coffee are all you can eat during the lunch hours.
