This restaurant will start your visit with something unusual to foreigners and Japanese alike--candy! No, this is not one of those shrewd family restaurants that leave the gum near the cash register. These are old Japanese treats. Some customers are, in fact, surprised to see that these treats are still being produced. Try the potatoes served with butter and Camembert cheese, and if you are not full from the candy, the desserts are wonderful as well. The beverage list features a wide variety of sake as well as wines (white and red) and beer. A fun place, in merry Shimokitazawa.
