Like it claims in the name, this restaurant serves healthy, organic meals in a smoke-free atmosphere, which makes it a very rare restaurant in Tokyo. In the evening, it changes character slightly and becomes a bar serving Belgian beer and top class whiskey. Healthy Kan also serves non-vegetarian fish and meat dishes. The lunchtime bentos, or lunch boxes, are great and include an assortment of really tasty morsels at prices starting at JPY850. There is also an outstanding rice gruel on the menu for JPY900. This contains grated vegetables, seeds and a blend of five different kinds of miso. The homemade cakes are also delicious.
