As could be expected with an outdoor theater, the Hibiya Outdoor Theater is generally not in use during the winter months. But in the warmer months, when concerts are scheduled, this is a very pleasant place to be, so close to the city center but with enough greenery to suggest otherwise. The annual Japan Blues Carnival, at which many of the top US blues acts appear, takes place here. Stands and stall provide refreshments to accompany the entertainment. Ticket prices vary with the performance.
