The consumption of whale may have been outlawed in places such as Iceland, and even the Japanese have toned it down a bit (it's no longer served in school cafeterias and such). However, there is still a market it. Kujiraya serves whale in a variety of d ishes, from sashimi to battered steaks. If you're up for something different and not entirely politically correct, Kujiraya may provide what you're looking for. Many swear by its taste, its fatty content making it particularly flavorful. This restaurant is located just five minutes away from Shibuya station.
