The beef at this yakiniku (Korean barbecue)restaurant has been awarded several trophies, which line the walls of Rashomon. That must explain the ornate decor of this restaurant. Most Korean barbecue shops are meant for casual consumption of lots and lots of beef. This may be the only yakiniku restaurant in Kichijoji where you would feel more comfortable in a tie. The decor looks like someone stole Kate Winslet's dressing room from Titanic and the meat, at most places cut in plain non-decorative strips, is served with all the intricacy of kaiseki, Japan's own version of haute cuisine.
