One of the rare pleasures of coming to a hot restaurant in Tokyo is the discovery that it is worthy of its reputation. At Restaurant Kinoshita, you need to make a reservation literally months in advance, and maybe even earlier. If you like to plan ahead, albeit far ahead, this place will definitely make the struggle for the table worth your while. There are many wonderful French restaurants in Tokyo, but if you happen upon this review early enough, do not hesitate to pick up the phone and say "yoyaku o shitaindesu"(I would like a reservation).
