This deluxe inn is located in the oceanside hot-spring community of Kaike. There are superb views of the sea from every room. Guestrooms are Japanese-style, pine-paneled, light and airy. The lovely garden overlooks the sea and is perfect for gentle strolls. There are separate men's and women's bathing facilities. The indoor bathing facilities include six hinoki tubs, each at a different temperature, rock-lined pools, cascade baths, cold baths and saunas. Outside are two open-air boulder-strewn open-air baths. The water is classified as weak sodium chloride, used to treat surface wounds, rheumatism, arthritis, neuralgia and stress.
