Built for the Tokyo Olympics in 1964, the Shibuya Kokaido is starting to look its age, but it still has some of the old magic. It stages both rock and classical and seats 2,318. Some of the top rock bands, local and foreign, play this venue when they hit Tokyo. Snacks, such as sandwiches, coffee and soft drinks are available, but alcohol is not. Ticket prices vary according to the performance.
