What is it with Setagaya and establishments that like to start off with "Space" in the name? It must be to cater to the young, retro buzz of Shimokitazawa. This restaurant is certainly that. From its molded plastic Eamesian furniture, to its iridescent cocktails, you would expect the HAL 9000 to take your order. The food however, is unexpectedly homey. Try their hamburger cheese fry, served with green beans and corn, or their long baguettes toasted with garlic. They also have their own original label wine for only JPY1,800 a bottle.
