The once flourishing town of Yunotsu is now a quiet fishing village that prides itself on its hot spring. Masuya is popular because of its homey atmosphere and personal service. Guestrooms are Japanese-style, paneled with light pine, and have a bright and airy feel. There are separate men's and women's baths. The several indoor baths offer different temperatures and all offer views of the sea. Outside are two landscaped baths. The water is classified as sodium chloride with calcium sulfate. Japanese home-style cooking is the order of the day and the hosts will prepare any fish that you catch.
