If you are a fan of tempura, this Shibuya shop should satisfy your craving for not only the dish itself, but its history as well. This restaurant opened up in the early 1930s and serves their tempura with tradition and style. For lunch you can try their tendon (rice topped with tempura and sauce)for JPY3,500. Dinner courses are JPY7,000 and include rice, miso soup, and ten pieces of tempura. The fish and vegetables are deep-fried in sesame oil, and change depending upon the season. Definitely reserve for dinner.
