A small theater with seats for 250, Theater St Mauer presents mainly, but not exclusively, contemporary drama by established, as well as new Japanese and foreign writers. The Seinen Gekijo company, one of Japan's leading drama companies, is often featured at this theater. The curtain usually goes up at 7pm but there are sometimes matinees at weekends. The only refreshments available are soft drinks.
