Consisting of two halls, the large hall with a capacity of 2,303 and the small one of 653, Tokyo Bunka Kaikan was until recently Tokyo's premier classical venue. It stages opera and ballet as well as full orchestral concerts in the large hall, and recitals and small ensembles in the small hall. There is a restaurant with seating for 141 that offers "French style" Japanese food as well as drinks, including beers, wines and cocktails. Ticket prices vary per performance.
