Tokyo Opera City is a very new concert hall with excellent acoustics but, despite its name, its does not stage operas. Nevertheless, it puts on an innovative and varied concert program ranging from solo recitals to full orchestral concerts. It has a seating capacity of 1,632. Inside the hall there is a wine bar serving drinks and snacks. For a full meal, however, visitors can take the elevator to the 53rd or 54th floors where there is a full complement of eateries--and the view is stunning. Ticket prices vary with the performance.
