A compact theater with seating for 300, with twenty to thirty patrons sitting on tatami or straw matting, the Yarai Noh Stage was built in the early nineteen-fifties specifically to stage Noh drama. Shows are usually staged on the second Sunday of each month and generally start at 1pm. The only refreshment available is a cup of green tea, but it comes free.
